Flea Control

Siphonaptera

The most common species to cause flea infestations in the UK is the Cat Flea:

Flea infestations are a menace as they will bite their host, creating discomfort. Some hosts can also experience an allergic reaction to the flea’s saliva. They will primarily feed on cats; however they will also bite dogs and humans.

Dog fleas can also feed on more than their original host but generally targets dogs and cats. Both can only breed when feeding on the original host.
