Why you need to take control of bedbugs in your home:
Bed Bugs are travel experts and the increase in our travel for holidays and business trips has lead to an increase in the amount of bed bug cases in the UK.
This small, flattened, oval insect is brown/red in colour and adults are typically 4mm – 6mm in length. Female bed bugs can lay between 200 – 500 eggs in 2 months in batches of 10 – 50 and these eggs can hatch in about a week. So 1 can become many in a short period of time.
They are blood feeders generally biting uncovered body parts during the night.
They can also migrate through blocks of flats and can sometimes be found on public transport. When you travel away from home, never keep your luggage near the bed.
